Project summary:
This contract is for the planning, facilitation, and post-event reporting of an Asset Management Workshop on February 4-5, 2016. The workshop is led by Hennepin County with funding from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Approximately 50-60 participants from state and local agencies across the country will be invited to this two-day event with the goal of sharing their asset-management strategies. The first day (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) will include introductory activities and presentations from each participating agency. The second day (8 a.m.-12 p.m.) will largely consist of facilitated discussion and activities.
Hennepin County will lead the planning and facilitation of the event. The Center for Transportation Studies will provide support staffing to prepare workshop materials, help design interactive activities, facilitate and record discussions, and provide day-of logistics support.
