Pilot Project to Validate the Results of T-PICS: Phase 1

Project summary:

This project is related to a larger Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP2) project, which is a collaborative effort between the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the University of Minnesota, and other research partners. The objective of the SHRP2 project is to validate the Transportation Project Impact Case Studies (T-PICS) economic evaluation tool for transportation projects using case studies of completed transportation improvements. The current research will provide a baseline set of economic data for the case studies against which other evaluation tools, including T-PICS, can be tested.
