New CEO Orientation and Peer Exchange

Project summary:

The Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) is coordinating the planning and delivery for the New CEO Orientation and Peer Exchange Workshop: an event designed to provide a venue for peer-to-peer discussion among state Department of Transportation (DOT) CEOs about the challenges and experience of DOT leadership. Working with American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials and WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff, the workshop will provide an opportunity for current and past DOT leadership to discuss and exchange ideas on operating a large public transportation agency. As part of this effort, CTS will participate in planning meetings with the project team and panel team to provide information and share updates on workshop arrangement and logistics. CTS staff will secure facilities, coordinate travel arrangements, make catering arrangements, prepare materials, pay expenses, and prepare a financial summary. CTS also convened similar CEO forums in 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2013.
