Project summary:
When bars and restaurants serve alcohol to people who are already drunk, the risk of problems such as traffic crashes and assaults increase. Researchers are evaluating the effectiveness of a strategy used by police where they collect information from persons involved in alcohol-related incidents about the place where they last drank alcohol. Police can then intervene with reported bars and restaurants to prevent this type of alcohol service and related problems.
