Project summary:

This project will identify the transportation related barriers to increasing travel and/or expenditures of two distinct sectors of international travelers to Minnesota: 1. The international visitors arriving at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International airport and connecting on to other destinations without spending time in Minnesota; 2. International visitors entering the state by automobile. It will measure the relative importance of these barriers in the travel decision making process and describe actions that can be taken to reduce their effects.
