Project summary:
The Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) at the University of Minnesota assembled a research team for the purpose of creating the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Project 1-01 Guidebook for Managing Small Airports. The research team was comprised of CTS staff members and consultants from AirportAdmin, Mead & Hunt, Inc., and Professional Engineering Services, Ltd. The three consulting firms offered expertise in airport management, development, construction, and operations, as well as manual development and training, and retained primary responsibility for developing the content of the final product. CTS provided overall leadership and management for the project, as well as editing and designing the final product.
