Yiling Zhang’s research focuses on data-driven optimization models and computational algorithms for complex service systems that interrelate a variety of information and decisions under data uncertainty. Zhang is specifically interested in developing risk optimization approaches for integrated system design and operations of innovative transportation-enabled urban services such as shared mobility, crowdshipping, and electric vehicles.
Zhang received her PhD in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and her bachelor’s degree in automation from Tsinghua University in China.
